While the shops remain open in Haworth and Ripon, with all due precautions being taken (I am adamant that nobody will catch any virus while in my shop!!), the online shop will always be available throughout the coming challenging months. Biodegradable
Prompted by a message from an online customer asking me to reduce the amount of bubble wrap used in the parcels that we send out, all external packaging is now paper or cardboard based. The only time it isn't is when we are recycling packaging that has been received (this being a better option than merely binning it). We are working at being more responsible within the shops too. Enormous Easter Egg auction
What to do with a huge dinosaur of fabulous milk chocolate egg?? This fabulous Easter Egg ways approx 7kg - That's 70 bars of chocolate!! I have an auction on eBay (LINK to Ebay auction) with all proceeds to The Children’s Society. Please support this wonderful charity as they support children who do not have the advantages in life that many of us have enjoyed. After months of planning and weeks of preparation, filming of the scenes on Main Street for 'To Walk Invisible' took place on Tuesday and Wednesday. Following this build up, the return to normality has been swift. For each pair of photographs, the first was taken on Tuesday/Wednesday, the second today (Saturday) The Sally Wainwright TV film, 'To Walk Invisible' is a drama based on the Bronte family.
